Kratos Community Development Initiative (KCDI) is a non-profit organisation working with communities to turn local knowledge, shared responsibility and opportunity into durable progress across education, health, livelihoods, inclusion, humanitarian response and environmental care.

Our story
Who we are
KCDI began with a simple conviction: communities already hold the insight needed to solve the problems closest to them, and what is most often missing is accompaniment, resources and accountable partnership. From that conviction grew a practice of listening first, designing together, acting with purpose and learning openly — an approach that now shapes every programme we run.

Every engagement begins with community conversations that surface priorities, strengths and lived experience before any activity is designed.
Design together
Community members, local leaders and partners shape objectives, activities and the measures used to judge progress.
Deliver with care

KCDI is directed by a board that sets strategy and oversees safeguarding, finance and risk, supported by a management team responsible for day-to-day delivery. Programme spending, partnership agreements and donation records are reviewed regularly, and our safeguarding and code of conduct policies apply to staff, volunteers and partners alike.
